The low-code options further up this page — Bubble.io, HP Site Flow, FTP, KornitX and the mobile app integration — are not shop plugins and are therefore not part of this comparison. If you integrate the editor yourself via Embedding the Editor, every feature listed here is available to you; it is then up to your own implementation which of them you wire up.
Each row of the comparison table above refers to one of the following capabilities.
Panel UI support — the shop integration supports the standard buyer side editor.
Slim UI support — the shop integration supports the Slim UI for products.
Full editor from a Slim UI product — the integration provides a button in the Slim UI that loads the full editor with the personalization already applied.
Automatic variant option mapping to form fields — product variants and configurable product options are transferred to the buyer side editor automatically by applying their values as form field values, and variant changes are synchronized back to the shop.
Preselected form field values outside variant options — you can specify form field values that are transferred to the editor without them being product variant options.
Saving of designs (Panel UI) — customer designs can be saved and loaded again from within the buyer side editor. The Slim UI does not support saving yet.
Merge templates / layout snippets — templates and layout snippets can be merged on top of the template that is loaded into the buyer side editor.
Custom form field based pricing — custom pricing can be applied through form field settings that are marked as price relevant.
Custom pricing for additional pages — custom prices can be configured per page, as needed for photo books and similar products.
Price per page can depend on other form field values — a per page price is not fixed but can vary with the values of other form fields, for example a paper or finishing choice.
Editing of cart items — an item that is already in the shopping cart can be opened and edited again.
Customer can reorder — a customer can take an item they have already ordered, edit it and add it back to the shopping cart in order to reorder it.
Dropship support — the shop integration can forward orders to one of our supported dropshippers.
