The AI Assistant doesn’t paste in a static mockup, it builds real Printess templates: documents, spreads, image frames, text frames, form fields, styles, and the dynamic expressions that make them smart. A calendar it creates isn’t a picture of a calendar. It computes its own dates, rolls into any year the buyer picks, and knows which day is a Sunday and which is a holiday. Change the year form field and the whole calendar re-renders itself.

And because everything lands as genuine template state, you can restyle every generated element in the Styles panel afterwards. The Assistant does the heavy lifting; you keep the creative control.

It sees what you see

This isn’t a blind text generator. The AI Assistant understands your live template, including its documents, frames and form fields, before making changes. No template yet? It can build an entire product from your instructions.

Ask it to “align the greeting with the photo frame and make it pop” and it knows exactly what to change. From a single frame to a complete product, it works at the scale you need.

You can also add reference images for inspiration, and every conversation is saved with your template so you can pick up exactly where you left off.

Here’s where it gets wild. The Assistant doesn’t just design templates — it programs them.

  •  A modal dialog that greets buyers with three curated design directions before they see the canvas.
  •  An inline panel with a "Generate" button that fills a frame with AI artwork from the buyer's own words.
  •  A form field that reshuffles the whole layout when the buyer switches from "Birthday" to "Wedding".
  •  Validation at checkout, dynamic price hints, guided step-by-step flows.

Dialogs, panels, click actions, on-change triggers, checkout hooks — the entire Printess scripting surface is now one prompt away. Buyer experiences that used to need a specialist now take a couple of minutes.
